Administrative Assitant

Elite Sports Injury: All Locations


Are you a friendly and prompt individual, with excellent attention to detail? Elite Sports Injury – one of Winnipeg’s leading physiotherapy companies – is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their growing team, as the “first face” for clients entering the office.

As the first point of contact, you will interact both positively and professionally with patients. You will also answer phones, input client information, schedule appointments, and follow up on insurance and other third-party payments. If you are a known for your attention to detail, reliability, and collaborative work style, we want to hear from you!

What you will do

  • Answer phone calls from multiple queues, schedule appointments, and answer general questions
  • Greet and check in patients
  • Input and update client records, maintaining confidential patient and company information
  • Manage insurance, WCB, and MPI claims and make collections calls
  • Maintain inventory of physical therapy supplies (check stock, place orders, and receive supplies)
  • Promote client safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Must haves

  • 3 to 4 years of administrative or office support experience
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Track record of strong communication and a commitment to customer service excellence
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Computer aptitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience in a physiotherapy and/or healthcare environment preferred
